Re: Why don't you get a Note 4 instead ? I upgraded to the N7 from a N4.... it started to get laggy and the battery would barely last a few short hours. Granted I can get a new battery, but after having the Note 7 for a month, boy this will be one big downgrade. I think I'll go back to the Note...

Re: Statement from Samsung Nothing is obvious. They're asking people to power down so Samsung can cover their asses before someone really gets hurt. But nowhere does it imply that a final and mandatory recall is in order.

Re: Statement from Samsung Nowhere does it mention a permanent stop of the Note 7 manufacturing. They can resume it at any point once their investigation is complete. They are simply covering their asses for the time being.

Re: No Next Contract Terminations from AT&T you'd need to unlock it get something for it. Given that you haven't even started paying for it, AT&T won't unlock it for you. Plus, you'd lose your phone number if you care about it (I personally do).

Thank god I never listened to my wife and haven't sold my Note 4 (yet). I always like to hang on to my previous phone for a bit after an upgrade, just in case....
