Can You Play Movies From Sd Card Slot On A Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 ?

If you download a player app, like VLC, you can pretty much play any video format. You can put movies on your SD card or in tablet memory itself. MX player also works well, but may require downloading an additional file to decode all formats. Word of caution: never remove the SD card while the...

Why does a Netflix software update keep popping up on my Tab?

Re: A netflix software update keeps popping up on my Tab. Netflix is not installed. These are essentially required Android updates, if you want to continue getting future updates you generally need to install each one. I suppose you could root and stop the updates, but its not clear why you...

HELP Major Problems with Tab 3 10.1

Hmm, if factory reset didn't fix it, then I'd fear some hardware problem, possibly with your internal storage. You may want to try to reset and upgrade and then re-install apps a few at a time instead of doing some type of backup/restore (if that is what you did). Keep the micro-SD card removed...

Tab 3 stopped connecting to the internet

Check that the date and time set on the tablet are same as network (actual) date and time. OF, tthere is a thread on this topic in general, try this; http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-3/313304-samsung-galaxy-tab-3-8-0-connected-wifi-but-no-internet-6.html#post3844818

Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Netflix problem

Just saw the update. It specifically mentions that it addresses the Netflix issue. Installed, and I can also confirm the problem is resolved.

My Tab 3 10.1 with Samsung smart cover turns itself off sometimes

Seems like there are at least two different issues discussed on this thread, one related to the smart cover and mag switch, the other probably related to battery connection or some defect in that circuit. If you tab is powering completely off when you jostle it, a connector problem would be the...

    Battery problems

You did not mention if you had an SD card or not. If you have one, remove it and see how it goes. If not, then it sounds like a faulty battery, as a screen at low levels should not drain it that fast. I did see some interesting stuff on 'calibrating' the battery controls on galaxy tabs. You may...

Galaxy S4: Micro SD Card Corruption Issues

Re: Micro SD Card Corruption Issues If your card appears to be corrupt, stop using it immediately or risk losing more data. Try to open on a PC & copy files. If that doesn't work on the first try, use one of the data recovery tools suggested in this thread to recover as much of your data as...

    IOS 7 Keyboard = SPAMALOT!

Executive Summary = Don't Install It. Recently converted the wife from Iphone to Android (Freedom, Yeah!), but she didn't like the keyboard, so I installed the IOS 7 keyboard app thinking it would be a bit more familiar to her. Then the pop ups started. False virus warnings, etc. Not a good...

    Very Hot And Battery Drain

Some cards, for some reason, actually heat up quite a bit. I think it is caused by a combination of a card defect and the card reader hardware supplying too much current or maybe just a poor contact/conenction. But, it is a problem that some Galaxy Tab owners have seen. Using a different card...

    MicroSD [Advice needed]

Your old card probably was corrupted somehow, slower cards seem to be at a higher risk for this problem. You can likely 'fix' it to make it useable again, but will lose the data. To do so, insert it in a PC card reader and use a tool like Mini-Tool Partition Wizard (or similar free partition...

    Virus on tablet

Are you using Chrome browser? Delete all your cookies, and disable pop-ups. Its most likely ad-ware/scare-ware pushed out by an application you installed, and not really a virus. Uninstall recently installed apps to see if that helps.
