Although I saw similar questions, those didn't specifically ask about my particular issue... Up until a few months ago, my Google widget would should me a random top story (based on my history), and other miscellaneous things like weather, traffic, agenda, etc. After getting some Google update...

It's absolutely mind boggling that they don't give us an option to change the text vibration pattern without having to resort to a 3rd party app, especially since you USED TO BE ABLE TO.

What troubles me more than the fact that they didn't give us the option to change it, is the fact that they checked this off as being ok during their rigorous testing phases.

How do we actually protest this? I mean, we're just invisible voices on the internet. I'd like to do something about it. What would be a practical first step? Change.org? I mean WTF can be done? The company is so huge it's not like we can just post on their social networking sites and complain.

See I don't think you should HAVE to be forced to use 3rd party software just to re-enable a feature that USED to exist. This problem only happened with the 5.0 update.
