Yea it would be a great budget phone if it actually worked. I havent seen any models in this price range with a 1080 screen, even 6.5" models are all 720. I tried installing a GSI, but its too complicated and I cant find a guide that would work for this model. I will ask for a replacement...

Hey guys. Sorry I took so long, I was busy with other things and didnt use this phone. Anyway, Doogee support gave me some wierd ROM update that was for a different model and also had a TEE key and google key issue. I asked repeatedly for a fix but they didnt reply. Their support is useless...

Talking to Doogee support, we'll se what their troubleshooting steps are.

I contacted them yesterday, but Monday morning in China is still a few hours away :)

Not really, it happens when I have it in my hand too. I can't find this option anyway, the only smart control available is "Lift to check phone".

I have checked these things multiple times already. DND, optimizers, battery, 3rd party apps are gone after factory reset, etc. My only idea is that DND somehow activates when screen is locked. But there's no option like that anywhere, that shouldn't happen.

OK sometimes the call goes through. I am testing with my landline and an old dumbphone I have. It seems completely random, I can't find any logic to what it's doing. I dont have another smartphone near me to test the SIM card, but I tried it in the dumbphone and it worked properly.

Yes, you are right. I was being a bit sarcastic. I still feel like theres some setting somewhere that's causing this behavior. It's not a bug, it's a feature!

Its a new card, I had to get a new nanoSIM for this phone. I talked to the carrier before, and they say they see no forwarding active, no bans, no network issues, nothing that would affect calls. Everything looks OK on their end. I tried the SIM in my old phone and it works fine.

Spoke too soon. Doesn't work again. I havent changed any options or installed new apps. Really, it's my fault for being poor and only able to afford literally unusable products.

Yes I did, just now. It looks like it's fixed, but maybe its just a fluke. I will update tomorrow. I still dont know why this happened so theres no guarantee it wont happen again. I cant keep resetting the phone very week...

No, DND is off, forwarding is off etc. I checked all settings, there is no setting that says "Reject calls when screen is locked" 😅
