Followed along with both the thread and the video walkthrough. Went without a hitch.

I followed the sticky and the linked YouTube walkthrough. Rooted. Flashed the stock rom, Nandroid backup. Flashed Myn. Works like a charm. I'm a happy Panda.

Screenies aren't really enough. If folks could let on on what toys they used to show how they got there. I may not want to exactly duplicate the results, but I could use those same tools to come up with something neat on my own. I mean, I've had my Evo for just a week now. I barely know where...

I'm currently backing up apps with Ti. After that's done I'll remove 'em with Root Explorer instead of adb and try again. (ETA: or the automated zip posted in the main Myn thread)

No joy. Still have just the buttons without the frames. Everything works as it should, it just looks a little off. So it goes.

I deleted that too and installed Fancy Widget in place of the stock clock widget. What I'm trying to do is this: I deleted HtcLockScreen.apk, and I have a version of the vanilla lock screen that doesn't have the frames around the buttons. I only have the buttons themselves.

Just deleting HtcLockScreen.apk got me the stock lock screen, but with just the buttons, not the little things surrounding them (whatever they're called).

Now that I've got it, how do I go about getting the extra little surrounds on the lock and mute buttons Jerzyiroc has? (or is that a different ROM?)

Looks fantastic. I'm tempted, so tempted. But I've only had my Evo since... Friday. Never rooted an Android ever. >_<

My work shirts have no pockets. I'm certainly not stuffing it in my pants pockets with my keys or change. So I unashamedly use the platinum case & holster. Got a problem wit dat? ;)
