I've read many opinions back and forth on task killers in general. Personally I have ATK installed, but rarely use it unless I really need to kill a buggy and/or frozen app.

I've yet to see a full/standalone 2.1 image myself. I have seen the full 2.01 image; I've also seen the 2.01 to 2.1 update image. I believe it's possible to run those in succession to accomplish what u want. Out of curiosity why do you need/want to downgrade?

P7, the closest I've gotten to that image on my Droid is with LauncherPro. 4 button dock and turn off dock background. App button isn't exactly like the image, but close imo. I've used ADW.launcher before, but ditched it for LauncherPro...love the multiple docks and the 3d app drawer.

I've also had this happen to me as well. First had it with Laputa, but I've had it to a lesser degree with other apps too. With Laputa it has happened several times. For the other apps, I was able to stop and restart the download. With Laputa I ended up resolving it by wiping the data and cache...
