It is a glass phone! When I know I'm getting a phone, I order the UAG case first, then the phone. That way my phone goes from box to case. On the other hand, my boy dropped his Note 8 that was in a Spigen case from the bumper of an escalade and it was totally shattered.

If you apply enough force it will definitely bend. However I do not recommend this as it may break your phone rendering it inoperable.
