After installing the Verizon Nougat upgrade yesterday, the notification bar at the top ("Verizon Wireless", bluetooth status, Wifi, 4G status, battery indicator, etc) goes away once I log in. I can't find any obvious setting for this. any ideas?

The S7E is popular now because of the recall. They haven't been available at my local store all week. It was easier for me just to order online. I'm planning on doing my Data transfer at home... too long to wait at the store.

Re: Why are note 7 catching fire and not edge 7 plus? The proof is in the pudding...the S7 Edge has been in production for more than six months and there have been any reports of igniting phones, at least none that I have heard of. So for whatever reason, its safety is proven.

Just got my Dell Venue 8 7840 delivered today, with KitKat. So far, I like everything about it. But when I click on "System Update" in About tablet in settings, it usually just shows the screen and then exits without starting the update. Is it just a matter of waiting until the update is sent...

An Android Central news item from today indicates that the Lollipop update has forced encryption. How is everyone's performance? I'm getting mine delivered Monday, probably still on KitKat. Should I update?

Got it! I navigated via tablets, for home, not for work. Still not on tablets for home. I guess they think we don't need 32 GB at home.

That's weird, I just looked and its still not on the page. I did contact Dell and they said that it is currently out of stock. I'm not surprised, I don't see why anyone would get the 16 GB when the 32 GB is available (or at least available sometime in the future :)

Ready to buy this, even before the Lollipop update, but it has been removed from the Dell page. I haven't ordered from Dell in while...does this mean they don't want any more people pre-ordering until they catch up on availability?
