If you like one-handed operation, the GS7. If you don't care about the edge features, GS7. Otherwise, a GS7e or a GN7, once they figure out the battery issues.

Judging by Samsung's (and I also have T-Mobile) update schedule, I'd say some time late Q1 next year, perhaps. The saving grace is that they used much of the same hardware for the GS7s and GN7, so the latest and greatest (GN7) might not get the update long before the GS7s.

I have a GS7 and iPad Air 2. I use Google Voice for texting with coworkers and Hangouts to talk to my family, so as to avoid using SMS, since my iPad can't receive them. Outside of that, I also use many of the same services between platforms, so I have no problem at all going between the two...

Having a strange problem. I've updated Twitter on my GS7, but the setting to turn on Night Mode is not there. It's present on my Note 4 and Note 10.1 tablet (and it's reached the iOS version, but that's neither here, nor there, I guess). Is anyone else seeing the same behavior on their S7?

I did eventually take my Galaxy S7 to a Samsung repair center, which fixed it for $45. I wasn't happy with it, but I did need the phone fixed then.

I don't know how you feel about Google services apart from Android, but you can get a Google Voice number that will ring to your phone in addition to your carrier-assigned number. You can also dial out using Google Voice.

Some of the people in that thread are getting theirs fixed for free or for less than the $71 that Samsung claims to want. Hopefully, I can get my case resolved in a similar fashion.

I've had the same thing happen. Force restart was working temporarily. Uninstalled a couple of recently installed apps and everything has gone back to normal.
