I've got the exact same clicking noise. Does anyone have a resolution? I don't believe it's a hardware issue. I was able to record audio via voice mate without the clicking sound. I have the LGUS model. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the camera app. But if it's the camera app why...

Ive had this happen a few times and I recall playing with the camera mode when it froze.

I too get that strange loop where knock on doesn't work so I push the power button and then the screen turns off half a second later. It is annoying, however its not an issue for me anymore. Thanks to other posts that I found a while ago, I was able to learn how the knock knock feature works...
