That's why I was trying to ascertain on this forum. Yes, it worked in Samsung S8. Does not work with V60.

That's what I explained, in Camera Settings the shutter is off. What is the point of that setting if it does not work? The only way to turn off the shutter sound is to turn off all sound. Apparently it's the media sound also. Putting the phone into the quiet and even non-vibrate mode does not...

Look at the good news, V60 prices will likely keep dropping till it's around $200. It's a great value.

In camera, the shutter sound option is explicitly turned off. Sound mode is set to vibrate. Yet it still makes the shutter sound noise. Don't tell me I have to set it to total mute and turn off all sounds for apps, etc.

The best thing about V20 there is a flood of aftermarket batteries on the market. Just a flood. I like the extended capacity ones, tried the 6500 mAh ones but usually run the 10,000 mAh ZeroLemon or TQTHL. You get solid 24 hours of constant use. The OEM ones are just pure junk. If you don't...

I am getting one solely for the standby mode. In case my primary fails. You can get a NIB one for well under $200. $150 even. with the flood of new phones, much newer prettier phones its prices have hit rock-bottom. It's the best value phone on the market.

Everything is working now. I do not trust that specific phone. will relegate it to a backup or a wifi device. The cool thing about V20, they are so cheap. One can get at least 3, or more V20s for the price of one V60. So worst case scenario, just get a new V20. I might get a V60, years down...

I went from V10 to Note 4 to Samsung S8+ to V20 and now want a second V20 with the idea of gifting my current V20 to someone. I think i want of these silver ones (Ti). Nice phone and the best thing is, can get a NIB one for $150 off Fleabay.

I've had the S8+, Samsung and it was a lot more water resistant than V20. I don't know if it can survive 6 feet in the water but it had no issues with occasional splash in the shower. I didn't like it for other reasons - no replaceable battery, weird curved edges, weird screen ratio, poor...
