My father-in-law just bought this same tablet and has the same issue. Were you ever able to get it resolved? He's got 4.4.4 & whatever the current version of Skype is. Thanks!

I installed the update this morning, and now my phone is telling me it will connect to Sprint 4G when it's available. I don't think I had this funcitonality before the update, so I'm guessing that's the big thing. I assume it's not LTE, and I don't think Spring it expanding its 4G wimax network...
