Verizon 4G slower than 3G in South East PA areas last couple months?

In multiple parts of South East PA, Verizon's 4G has dropped to less than 3G in the last couple months. Both myself and the wife bought new Galaxy S5's when we came to Verizon from Sprint just over 3 months or so ago, and was initially blown away-25 Mbps and higher in most areas. POLAR...

Slow VERIZON 4G in Eastern PA areas last couple months?

In multiple parts of South East PA, Verizon's 4G has dropped to less than 3G. Both myself and the wife bought new Galaxy S5's when we came to Verizon from Sprint just over 3 months or so ago, and was initially blown away-25 Mbps and higher in most areas. However 4G LTE is STILL down in...

    (Verizon) Galaxy S5 Root options/recommendations for 4.4.2 G900VVRU1ANCG ?

Forgot to ask: if I ever need to unroot after towelroot (it worked fine) then what would be the procedure? I am on stock and will most likely stay with that, so is it just a factory reset? Thanks

    (Verizon) Galaxy S5 Root options/recommendations for 4.4.2 G900VVRU1ANCG ?

Just purchased a (new) Verizon Galaxy S5 that still has 4.4.2 G900VVRU1ANCG on it out of the box and am looking for options/recommendations for rooting. It doesn't look as though any of the supposed "bug fixes" or "new features" since then that I've read about online are that critical to me...

VERIZON 4.4.4 update that causes SD card to be unreadable-the lastest word?

So I just bought the Galaxy S5 from Verizon a couple weeks ago, and had initially no problems with reading the Sandisk 64 GB micro SD card (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009QZH6JS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1&t=androidcentral00-20&tag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4020356...

Galaxy S3 (Sprint)-disable constant system update 4.3 nags?

Okay so having read the somewhat usual comments after a new Android release, that indicate the loss of ROOT, the loss of TETHER (even after RE-rooting), and the broken apps etc., combined with a list of "improvements" that don't excite me that much, or compel me to "upgrade," is there a way to...

Sprint Galaxy S3 and 64GB micro SD card: WHAT'S THE LATEST WORD?

Okay so I've been reading all over for some time now on this apparently controversial subject (controversial, in that everyone's mileage seems to vary.) What's the latest word on a WORKING 64GB micro SD card solution for the SPRINT Galaxy S3? Format to FAT32 using EaseUS Partition Manager or...

Sprint 4G slower than 3G in Blue Bell/Norristown PA area-what happened?

Seems sometime in the last couple months the once very fast 4G has completely nosedived in this area. Note that these tests were all run while 4G was active, in the same place or within 20 feet.

Sprint Galaxy S3 connected to 4G *Wimax* today? (Norristown, PA)

Update-apparently it was only a trial, as from 8/14/13 (the next day), until the time of this writing it has been off in Norristown, I'm guessing off in Philly too.

Sprint Galaxy S3 connected to 4G *Wimax* today? (Norristown, PA)

I did read that as well, that they are different frequencies or whatever, but I puzzled regardless. Testing LTE makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply.

Sprint Galaxy S3 connected to 4G *Wimax* today? (Norristown, PA)

My Sprint Galaxy S3 connected to 4G Wimax today? (Norristown, PA) Happened to be in Norristown, PA today at noon, and for the first time ever since buying the phone last December, noticed a 4G icon. According to Sprint?s coverage map, this area DOES NOT have 4G LTE, but apparently DOES have 4G...

AGGGHHH! 4.2.1 Update killed PS3 controller on TF300?

AGGGHHH! 4.2.1 Update killed PS3 controller? Worked great just prior to the recent update-wirelessly, no root, no app. Just plugged in via the USB to Asus connector adapter at the bottom for a minute or so then turned on the controller and the tablet's bluetooth and then unplugged. I'd only...

Asus TF300 HORRENDOUS video playback? Is this a JOKE?

Yes as I mentioned above I did try the arm7 codec as well with mx. Looks like this is all from a DEFECTIVE but BRAND NEW 32GB card that apparently had trouble reading (and sometimes writing to) Swapped the identical card from my GalaxyS3 and all is fine. Copied over the exact data, swapped the...
