Android 12 Beta 4 Features, Bugs, and Fixes.

Here's to hoping. Last couple of X.1 betas that came out were about two weeks out from the parent release. I'm hoping they don't wait that long. Heck, I'm hoping they don't even wait until this Wednesday, to be perfectly honest.

Android 12 Beta 4 Features, Bugs, and Fixes.

I'm having very little issue with beta 4 on my Pixel 3, except for the already identified issue with VPNs. That's a major problem that I'm really wishing Google would go ahead and release a patch for. I've seen discussion from Google that they've already fixed the issue internally, so they could...

Android 12 Beta 4 Features, Bugs, and Fixes.

I do like the overall feel of the stock Pixel launcher, but there are just a handful of little niggles about it that bug me. For example. I don't like that it won't let me determine which page is my home page, it defaults to the left-most and I prefer the middle page (if for no other reason than...

    Best Pixel style Launcher?

I came on here looking to ask the same question. I used Nova for years, but I've gotten to where I really like the overall look of the stock Pixel launcher, and Nova can come close (with a *lot* of work), but still not close enough for my tastes. I'm using Lawnchair, which I like for the most...

    Non pixel pure google

That's interesting. I can't address those phones specifically, but I did have a couple of Samsung phones (an S4 and a Note 5 - both flagship phones in their day), which one of the things I always hated about them was how quiet they were with the volume turned all the way up. I've got a Pixel 3...

    Stock launcher or Nova launcher?

I'm using Nova. I like the overall feel of stock, and Nova does a pretty good job of replicating it, but it also allows me to tweak details here and there, like changing out the search bar in the dock so that it uses chrome, or using two lines for app names.

Why has my Bluetooth share stopped?

Bluetooth share has stopped Somebody HELP!!!!!!!! I'm running Resurrection Remix LP v5.5.8 on my T-Mobile Galaxy S4 (SGH-M919). I love this ROM, but I'm having a persistent problem with Bluetooth crashing, within minutes of starting up. This a consistent problem, not even remotely intermittent...

    Why don't my widgets refresh?

Widgets don't refresh I love widgets, but I've been having trouble with various widgets not refreshing on their own. Culprits include Yahoo Weather and WebMD's allergy app. I can sometimes get them to refresh by going into the app itself and coming back out, but honestly, that defeats the...

    Settings protection

Is there any app out there that can "lock" the settings on my S4? Not added protection via the lock screen (I find increasing the security via the lock screen to be annoying), but something so that once I get my apps, widgets, etc. set up how I want them, nothing can undo them accidentally. I've...

    Should I buy a 16gb or 32gb S4?

Must be something in the newer versions of Android, because my old HTC G2 did it. Posted via my Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G (T-Mobile)

    Should I buy a 16gb or 32gb S4?

Are we talking physical memory, or the size of the SD card? I ask, because Samsung phones don't support moving apps to the SD card like some phones do. Which means if you tend to run a lot of apps, the more physical storage space on the phone, the better. The SD card only stores media files...

Need an honest answer about the Galaxy S4.

Ditto. I had a Samsung flip phone ages ago, hated it. Thet tucked so many functions in the weirdest of places, there was no thought at all. They do much better with Android phones. Posted via my Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G (T-Mobile)

The FBI can remotely activate microphones on Android devices to record conversations.

Even as a libertarian, I'm not bothered by this at all. If law enforcement wants to listen in on my conversations, they'll find themselves quite bored in the process. Posted via my Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G (T-Mobile)

Need an honest answer about the Galaxy S4.

I can't speak for the One as I've not personally handled it, but the GS4 is a sweet phone. My wife has one, and it has me re-thinking my insistance on a physical QWERTY keyboard. I have also seen plenty of review sites out there that I trust putting the Samsung in first place of all phones...
