Mine locked in September while downloading an app from the Google Play Store. Nothing I've done to fix it had worked. My cheaper ASUS MeMo pad 7 still works. Seems like the problem is rampant on the Google N7 2013.

Mine soft bricked while downloading an app from the Google play store. Spent hours in it and can't get anywhere. Soured me on Android devices. Would love to get it working again.
