Yeah you're right. I'm sure it's not supposed to be doing that. It's interesting that this was also seen by someone else before and I just wonder how common it actually is. But yeah, I'll definitely find another adapter that doesn't do it. Thanks for all the assistance!

Nope not any more - the adapter and wireless charger are both quite a few years old. It still works perfectly but it's just that noise that's quite concerning. I'll try it with a different adapter again, but I just need to double-check that the output voltage/current is suitable for the charger

Yup, that's the one - it's an original charger that came with one of my earlier phones. It's not a solid beeping noise that you would expect to hear from a speaker (more like an electronic buzz) Also just as alanrichman1999 mentioned, it is continuous and not too loud but if the room is quiet...

Thanks for the reply, mustang7757 It is the charging adapter itself that beeps (mine is model EP-TA20EWE). It beeps regardless of whether a phone is charging on the wireless charger.

Hi alanrichman1999 - Did you ever find a reason for this happening? I have the same Samsung wireless charger matched up with a Samsung adapter (EP-TA20EWE) with an output of 5V/2A that makes the same low-tone beeping and has been driving me 'beeping' crazy for months now... Thanks in advance!
