I owned both the nexus 4 and T-mobile GS4, and I returned the GS4 due to the lags. I will buy the GS4 GE since there's no lag at all with stock android. Samsung really forced it with all the software that constantly running in background and contributed to lags that were unbearable for me...

I'm experiencing the same problem, I'm not sure why it fixed for others. But this lag is getting on my nerve since I'm used to the butter smooth nexus 4, it took a few seconds to load up dial pad and contact list, scroll lags on launcher pages. I wonder if this is a defective unit

I had that problem with the screen turned off when taking or making calls. I had the SPG screen protector on and it doesn't have a cut out for the proximity sensor, and that was the problem. I took it off and it works perfect now.

Google should give every1 free 2-days shipping cuz the estimated shipping is 1-2 weeks. How does that make any sense at all when you paid for 2-days shipping?

I have Skinomi full body screen protector and I love it. It was hard to install on the sides of the device but it definitely gives you some extra grip on the device.
