Another workaround that I've been using when holding the tablet as a notepad for instance is to flip the cover around so that the keys are facing the inside back cover. It won't secure the keyboard on the magnetic pin since that's not the way it's supposed to be used, but at least you aren't...
My keyboard cover came in yesterday and so far so good. Aligned it as instructed and it stuck on firmly. Seems to be a hit or miss as some of the YouTube videos I watched had that "not sticking to the tablet firmly" issue while others have had no problems. HOPEFULLY, this doesn't become an issue...
My Tab S6 arrived yesterday sans keyboard cover case (arriving separately.) I only had a short time to play with me but it should make a nice complement to its little brother, the Note 9. 😂 It is essentially a jumbo-sized Note. And I love it.
Not leaving, sticking with the Note 9. The only way I'll upgrade is if someone gifts me a Note 10+ or Verizon gives me one for nearly free. Neither will be happening 😂
Agreed. The Note 9 is definitely the first phone where I don't feel the need to upgrade to the next/greatest. Also, $$$. What I might do instead is upgrade my old, aging Tab S2 tablet with either the S5e or the new Tab S6. Or wait for the rumored 8" S2 successor.
Yes, I still use a tablet. :)
I've been using both the Samsung S-View flip cover case and the rugged case. I switch them out whenever I feel like it, really :) Both have the pros and cons. I tend to get more compliments and questions when I'm rocking the S-View flip cover case because it really is a pretty case. (Not that I...
Besides the stock Samsung Messages app, I use: FB Messenger, Hangouts, KakaoTalk, GroupMe, Line (sometimes), and Telegram. Samsung Messages, FB Messenger, and KakaoTalk seem to be the ones I use the most on a regular basis.
Back pocket, coat pocket, suit pocket (when I am wearing a suit), or in my hands. If I'm sitting, it's on the table or on my lap when there is no table.
Alternate between the S-View flip cover case or the heavy duty Samsung case.
Not a huge thing but has anyone tried using Samsung Pay with the phone off? You can set it so all you have to do is slide up on the screen to activate Samsung Pay. Just tried that and it would get me to my cards but then it just seemed to freeze. It would not register my fingerprint. When I...
Pi seems to be settling down after a few days. I had one "glitch" and that was my alarm didn't go off. A family member woke me up in a panic thinking I was sick or something. I pulled my phone off the wireless charger and noticed it was on the encryption unlock screen. I thought it odd since the...
I had to tweak some DND settings to receive emails and notifications in the background. The first night I set it and woke up there were oddly no notifications showing on the screen. They started coming in when I turned off DND. Not sure if that was a "Pi settling in" glitch or what not. Not a...
