Can you try mirroring the screen to a Chromecast? Are there black bars on the top and bottom of your TV when the S8 is in landscape orientation? If so, is there any setting on the phone that allows you to adjust the displayed area on the S8 to a standard 16:9 ratio?

This never happened to my S3, but it happens frequently to my S5. The S5's home button seems much more sensitive!

Virtually all of my problems with auto-brightness on super-amoled phones like my Nexus S and GS3 have been solved by using an app like Lux (search for it on the Android market) or by flashing a custom ROM like AOKP that lets you tweak the brightness thresholds.

I really don't understand why this phone was so poorly reviewed. I think it looks and feels like Rolex... or at least a nice Braun shaver, LOL!

I love Android because every time I scan a barcode with my Aria, I feel like I'm James Bond hacking into the bad guys' lair or something!

Has there been any news regarding the release date for the Droid X SE that was pre-announced yesterday? Supposedly it has a 1.2 Ghz CPU. If it's a "world phone" I might wait for it. Picture attached.
