I moved from a 4S to Note 3. Was due for an upgrade and wasn't impressed with Apple's very slow progress. IOS 7 was good though. Happy to have made the move!

There was an earlier thread on this where someone helpfully mentioned to turn off "iMessage" in your iPhone settings. I did this and haven't had any problems with multiple friends and associates who use the iPhone. Might be an easy fix prior to deleting your contacts. Dan

I walked in and picked up a black. no preorder. trying to get started and i am happy to say the forums here have been a GREAT resource for an android noob.

Re: Why do you wany ICS? I am not sure what is in it that will make it "better". I am jumping into a new phone though and get nervous with OS upgrades....concerned they will crash phone or cause problems. Think it would be best to have new system on new phone, at least for a while.....

Great question! I guess some people are better at sales than others. Not sure if they get commission or not. If they do, I figure they would be dropping hints/taking reservations, etc.
