Yup, it takes some nice pictures. I picked up my T2 and went directly to a job site when I needed to take a bunch of low light photos. They came out great and there was no shutter lag.

The new camera is great for me, and probably adequate for aficionados. I have it in hand. No shutter lag. Not sure OIS is necessary. I'll be interested to take some motion pictures and see how the turn out. This camera is much better than the last Turbo.

I have but one objection... Why so big? Am I the only business/power user who doesn't want a huge device? I can barely fir the Droid Turbo in my pocket. If I'm not mistaken, there are no (current) options on Verizon for a 5" or less android phone. I think the Droid Maxx 1 was the last option.

I have no issues in and around Chicago. LTE is strong in the loop, Cook County, Lake County, and DuPage County. This is where I am usually traveling. I have dropped maybe 3 calls since the original LTE update in January.

You could employ a google voice number, using Hangouts or Google Voice apps, and make sure you are on WiFi for your calls.

Re: Unbiased opinions about the Turbo after the S6 anouncement? Since I have not used an S6, I cannot say anything for certain. I believe that all of these device manufacturers have converged on more, or less, the same solution. The software experience on the Turbo is more "muted" as a result...

Did you order from the supplier, or directly from the OEM? It's possible there was a bad batch from whatever distributor yours came from.
