After extended GS4 test drive, I'm going back to Apple for good. Here's why.

You are right where I was several months ago. I think that if you get an Android, in several months, you'll be right where I am now.

Jeez, what'd I miss?! People take this stuff so personally. I was merely sharing my experiences as objectively as possible.

After extended GS4 test drive, I'm going back to Apple for good. Here's why.

After approximately four months with the GS4 on Verizon, I'll be picking up an iPhone 5s on Friday (fingers crossed that I can even find one). I've dabbled in Android for the very last time and consider it to be the clearly inferior platform. Here's why: 1. The thing I do most on my phone is...

Visual Voicemail password/setup - S4 keeps forgetting it.

I've had the same problem. The voicemail app just periodically forgets my password and/or logs me out.

iMessage with Android? Thinking of switching from Apple, but...

There's no doubt that Apple has Android soundly beaten in the texting/messaging/MMSing/whatevering category. I miss this very much.

    S4 Starting to Lag

I'm experiencing the same thing as the OP. I'm also running the Nova launcher. I don't have any app killers or anything like that because I've read that they're actually bad for the system.

Is anyone else completely content with their S4?

I've been waiting for a phone to get me off the iPhone train, and after three days with the GS4, I do believe I've found a worthy successor. I'm pretty blown away by the thing.

Have: iPhone5, Curious About: Droid DNA - convince me to switch

Sorry, Droid DNA. This just isn't working out. It's not me. It's you. I'm going back to my ex, the iPhone 5. Prefer DNA to iPhone 5: -big screen! -blaaaaaaaazing fast -notifications are better Unfortunately, that's pretty much where it ends. Deal Breakers: -atrociously poor battery...

Right. I'm not an idiot. I wanted to see how much the battery drained with no activity whatsoever.

I charged the phone to 100% and let it sit overnight for about 7.5 hours. When I woke up, it was at 86%. The battery life leaves something to be desired IMO.

Have: iPhone5, Curious About: Droid DNA - convince me to switch

First impressions after playing around for just a brief while: -very fast...like woah... -excellent build quality, although power button could be a little more pronounced and I don't dig the USB cover -screen size is amazing, but it's less bright than the iPhone 5 and has weaker viewing angles...

Well, I took the plunge. I bought the Droid DNA. Wish me luck. It seems pretty awesome so far and I know I haven't even begun to explore it.

Have: iPhone5, Curious About: Droid DNA - convince me to switch

In a nutshell, I'm bored with the iOS experience, as it hasn't really changed much in five years. It still looks virtually the same as it did in 2007. I love the Apple ecosystem, but I don't really need my phone to be linked thereto for any real reason. I have an Apple TV, iMac, Macbook...
