What was your previous phone? Do you like the Nexus 5 more or less? Why?

Coming from a N5 to the N5. It's just all around better device. Also had the N7 2013 since Dec and love that feel on the N5.

I want the Nexus 4 but I have Verizon

Verizon will let you suspend service, but for a max of 30 days I believe. I'm currently a subscribers and temp suspended my service because I lost a ph+ 42Mbps may be a lil slower than than the LTE speeds I get, but I'll serious appreciate the improved battery life as HSPA+ is a battery hog like...

Got it activated at Best Buy, but didn't get to leave with it

I thank you for this story. I was || <--this close to going to a Verizon store and giving someone the verbal bidness. I'm a little relieved that there is actually an issue behind the hold up. Thanks again!

My First 24 Hours with the Revue and Google TV

Thank you for sharing. Not at $99, I think I'll take the plunge and ty it out. Even if it's half-baked right now, I think I can enjoy it, and make great use of it. I just dont want to use a large keyboard. Can you type and search from the Google TV app for Android? I'd rather use that than the...

Welcome to the Nexus S 4G! Please introduce yourselves here.

Hi, All! Dell here. I got my Nexus S 4G on Friday, and I am in Love with it! I've owned an Evo 4G, then an Epic 4G, and preferred my Epic over the Evo. The only thing I wanted changed on the Epic was a candybar form factor (for better cases) and stock Android. I could not be happier with my...

Anyone else hoping for a Galaxy S II Pro? (Epic 4g II)

I got the Evo on release day, but got the Epic about 2 months ago. I'm glad I made the switch but I want to go back to a slate device. Either way, I'd get it for Orion and Super AMOLED Plus. But talks of quad-core in August?! I may wait a little while (September-ish), let the field play out.

Jump ship from Palm WebOS to Android?

Well, Most phones will have either 2.1, or 2.2/Froyo. Version 2.3/Gingerbread was released this week on the new Nexus S. Nexus phones are stock Android phones so they will always get the latest updates. The G2 is stock too, but I am not sure about their update timeline. If you do not get a stock...

Android: Where is our GPU Acceleration!?

That's that Hummingbird goodness, PowerVR SGX 540 (better than the 535 in iPhone4). I had to drop my EVO in favor of the Hummingbird in my new Epic. Hasn't disappointed me one bit, outside of not having "Official" Froyo yet. Currently running a 2.2 ROM tho. Really can't wait for an Orion...

Android: Where is our GPU Acceleration!?

Heard about Orion chips from Samsung, successor to the Humminbird? It's sporting dual core A9s with a quad core Mali 400 GPU. But with that link sniffs pointed out, that garbage collection has been decreased in Gingerbread. It's quite evident in any demo of Gingerbread on the Nexus S. My guess...

    SAMLOED Compared to Iphone 4

The iPhone4 is only "better" in sharpness because images and text are sharper due to the higher resolution, 960x640. The highest resolution on a Samsung device is 800x480, what most other Android phones are, except the Moto Droids which are a bit higher in res, but not that of the iPhone4...
