    Auto rotate and Screen brightness

On my Note 2, I have to reset the screen rotation to "ON" occasionally, but its a simple process, pull down from the top of the screen and touch the screen rotation icon. Same issue with the auto brightness feature which wants to default to Auto. This assumes you've made the appropriate choices...

    WiFi stuck "turning on"

I'm having the same "Turning Wi-Fi On" hang issue with a Note 2 on ATT.

Does the charging cable you use matter?

For an auto cig. lighter you can find the plugs that have dual USB ports, one labeled iPhone and the other iPad. The iPad port will rapid charge your phone, if your cable is up to snuff. The cheapo car chargers you see in the drug stores and gas stations are normally not 2 amps, you have to...

    Nexus 5 or Note 2?

The changeable battery did it for me, I just chuckle when all my iPhone friends at at work start scrambling for a power source at 3PM. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using AC Forums mobile app

Samsung Galaxy S4 - Kies Sync Problems after Latest firmware updates! "unsupported device alert"

Re: Samsung Galaxy S4 - Kies Sync Problems after Latest firmware updates! "unsupported device alert" As my phone is 90% business, I welcomed Companionlink's suggestion, I need a solution I don't care if it's a shameless ploy to get my $$ or not Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using AC Forums...

    Does anyone use Samsung Kies?

I use it to Sync and Back Up to my PC, Contacts from my phone to Outlook, Calendar, and installed applications. I do it through the USB port, takes about 15 minutes using the full version. I don't use the OTA, as it's always going to take longer than a wired data transfer. I found it very...

ATT Email not syncing inbound, Gmail works fine.

Thanks for the response rankar7, it's fixed. The encrypted box was not checked for outgoing email, which makes no sense, as it was only the incoming that was not showing up. The outbound was working fine. Anyway it fixed it, just not sure why

ATT Email not syncing inbound, Gmail works fine.

My Note 2 is no longer receiving emails through my AT&T account, it stopped this morning at 9:50 AM, although my Gmail is working fine. It will let me send out emails from the email, but it's not picking up from the AT&T server. I don't remember changing anything in the settings on the Note 2...

Syncing Note 2 with Outlook 2013?

I'm using Office/Outlook 2010 and looking for answers as well. Really don't want to have to go back to Blackberry, but it's a critical point. Even my old Palm, from way back when, could sync Outlook. There's an article on PC Magazine, that came out Feb of 2012, but nothing definitively works if...

    Car mount for Note 2?

I picked up a Rocketfish from Best Buy, it has an alternate mount that allows you to use your air vents. I love it as it doesn't hinder my vision like a dash or window mount would (those are included). It's got plenty of room even after the hard case I use on my Note 2. It will take some...

What is your favorite password manager? (2012 edition)

I was a little stunned the Datavault from Ascendo wasn't on the list already. I just moved from a blackberry to a Note 2. Had to buy a new version for the Android OS, and it synced perfect the first time out with my laptop and desktop. I like them easy and I like them simple, this one does it...

Email app that I can actually use

Wow, thanks for the explanation on IMAP vs POP, quite informative. I'm coming from a BB 9810 to a Note 2 on ATT, just today. Researching my options for Outlook syncing with GMail and Contacts. Guess I need to research the IMAP vs POP as well. Cost is not a major issue, getting it to work is.
