Funny you should say that, because I'd say the pixel is complete trash compared to those screens. It's trash compared to any phone I've seen in the past year come out. I have no idea why more people aren't complaining about it.

I believe it refers to a non pentile arrangement of subpixels, if I remember correctly.

I had the axon 7 before the pixel and absolutely loved it other than having random radio drops on wifi and verizon's network. How would you say your pixel's screen quality compares to the axon 7 or the s7 edge?

The same lights are on in both shots, but I discovered from wiping off the glass panel on the pixel helped clear up the shot. I couldn't even see the debris that was causing that in this shot!

If I didn't get the pixel so cheap I'd honestly have sent it back already. I haven't experienced any connectivity problems, though. My connection has been amazing since I got it two days ago, although that's probably not enough time to really mean anything.

I just found and turned on sRBG and it makes my panel EXTREMELY warm, like a sepia tone or that experiential night mode Google implemented. It looks way worse. Maybe this is an indicator of my panel being defective if that normally improves the screen.

I had no smudge on the camera. If there is any light source anywhere near the camera, it streaks across it like that, it can even be outside the shot, but bleed into it, probably through refraction of the glass panel in front of the lens. It's irrelevant anyway because the 5X does not have...
