I went to an AT&T store and downloaded WeatherStation or some other similar app onto an S4 Active. App said there wasn't hardware for thermometer and wouldn't run, so no idea about other sensors. Same on on the S4 next to the Active worked fine. So that says to me there's no thermometer...

Side by side comparing different S4 Actives with S4's in-store all the S4's were a noticeably dimmer, warmer color-temp display. Both in text, websites, and photos. Very noticeable difference that was essentially the same across multiple units at multiple corp stores.
