I verified with each sender and they did not send any file. As far as apps I recently downloaded nice catch. Is there a way to get a list of apps and when they were downloaded? Also I've thought about changing message apps and see if that helps.

I use Samsung messages and I don't see that in their settings. However automatic download of mms is on and attaching unsupported files is marked as allowed.

I agree but when I was working with my carrier they suggested I do just that! Said if it came in a text should be ok.

Mobile data and wifi calling are on. The weird thing is that I'm on a group text but the download file comes from them individually (a totally different thread) and they said they never sent anything.

Actually I did finally figure it out. I went through my apps to see if I had downloaded something recently and I ran across a Bible app. That had to be it because of the cathedral dong. So read up on it and it said it would send a reminder morning, noon and night to remind you to read the Bible...

So I downloaded Nice Catch. The sound just happened and went to Nice Catch and there has been no activity for an hour (on any setting). Went to settings, to notification history and nothing. I guess I’ll call Samsung and see if they have any idea.
