    Definitely no film, I've carefully tried a scalpel. I use my Oakley sunglasses case to clean the lens. I have noticed a spec of dust in the lens, although it's not in the field of view. It has produced the below in the right circumstances.

    Thanks for your reply and welcome, always been an Apple user, but after trying Android don't think I'll ever go back. I did think that may have been the case, but can't seem to see or feel and film on the lens.

    Does anyone get bloom / flare in photos with their Z1? This happens in day or night photos if there is a light source infront of, or to the side of the lens.

    Really interested in your thoughts on the phone. I'm looking at the Z1 at the moment but a wee bit concerned by the criticism about poor viewing angles on the screen.
