That's the symbol for being connected to a network extender. We got an extender a week ago and I've had that on my phone since then when in my house. Do you have an extender? If not, your wife's phone probably just got in the range of one for a while.

Did you log in from the G2 or by some other means? I didn't get the 50GB until I logged in directly from the phone. Logging in via computer did not do the trick. Just an idea in case you were logging in by some other means.
