Mine seems quite a bit better. Although i seemed to have some awake issues before and this seemed to help.

They moved it under Developer Options then Running Services. If you don't have developer options under your settings go to About Phone and click on the build number 7 times to make the menu appear.

Ever since I upgraded to Marshmallow the ambient moto display thing sometimes turns on when i pick it up or move the phone. It doesn't seem to be the gesture hand swipe over thing but something else. Anyone have any idea on this?

So just go into the apps and check the settings for updates\notifications? If so is there any other easier way or some in particular I should start looking or a way to tell where to look.

Where is the sync/upload settings? Are you talking just email as I believe they are push to phone for updates. Will those short periods of lower signal really drain it that fast? It looks green more than half the time with very little red.

You can do it at the Verizon Store. I personally did it for my wives phone with just such a text about 2 months ago. You will just need to supply them with the promo code in the text.

Do you think its worth putting a screen protector over this replaceable outer layer? Just asking because these replacements are quite a bit more than a standard screen protector.
