Yes, I believe it has to do with Sense... it tends to load for a while sometimes after exiting an app. I'm currently using ADW Launcher and it doesn't seem to have this particular problem.

Hi there, new poster incoming! :) I just got the One X yesterday and I've had no problem with the phone 'flexing' and while it's bouncing ever so slightly when I press the back of the phone, it's definitely not what I would call flexing and there's no squeaking or creaking noises to be heard...
