Nice find! I can also confirm it works on Your-Mom-Rom. I have ADWLauncher EX, and was able to add the shortcut to my home screen via long press | Custom shortcut | Pick your activity | Activities | com.lge.LgHiddenMenu | ServicesLG(.Lg_hidden_main).
I wonder if the DUN NAI setting this secret...
For what it's worth, I have this charger in my car and it charges fine w/ ZVH (both stock and w/ Gingerkernel v08.1)

At this point you may be better off just reverting to stock and starting from.scratch. Can you still boot into recovery? (either from adb or with key combo)
Once you root your phone, you should be able to use the free wifi tether app, you shouldn't need a custom ROM if you don't want. Though for what it's worth, I found my phone to be much faster on YOUR-MOM-ROM than stock. Hope this helps.

So I finally took the plunge and upgraded to this ROM over the weekend, my first custom ROM. Been rooted for a few months, finally decided to drop stock after reading about CarrierIQ in the tech news again and again. Wow! This thing flies... Using gingerkernel v08, not overclocked - but it still...
