Re: Why does my home button go to Google Now after AT&T Galaxy S5 Active update to 4.4.4? Try long pressing the Google app in your app drawer, go to "app info", then uninstall updates. I did this and it fixed it. I think this is a Google app issue with it's latest update. Hope this helps...
