Just letting everyone who took the time to reply to my thread know that I did get Note 4 and I could not be happier. For my needs it is perfect. The battery charges so fast compared to my old Note 2. Thanks.

Ok 99% decided that I am going with Note 4. Will place order in next few hours so that I can collect it on Monday.

Ok desperate times. Note 2 is seriously playing up despite full factory reset. I was hoping it was software related and that a reset would make it good. Definitely some sort of gradual hardware failure. I need to pick a new phone up on Monday as this crazy Note 2 is impacting my interaction...

Leaning towards Note 4 and 6P.

My problem with non removable battey is that it has a limited life. No matter how quick a battery charges, if it goes south I am left with a brick. That suits manufacturers as you are forced to buy a new phone.
