My touch screen just started acting like it was getting tapped all over and I couldn't even force it to shut down. It was like it was/is possessed! I finally managed to shut it down and restart it, but that didn't fix the problem. Any ideas what this is or if I can fix it?

I've had my phone for 4 days now, and no issues. Actually quite pleased until today. Knock on takes a couple tries, knock off works great. Tonight while phone was sleeping, wouldn't knock on at all, no matter where or how hard I tapped. Used the back button, but it shut itself off shortly...
