Re: [ROM] CM10 alpha5.3: Android 4.1.1 for Samsung Epic 4G Touch
Nope, using the 5.3 release. Not really one to flash nightlies.

Re: [ROM] CM10 alpha5.3: Android 4.1.1 for Samsung Epic 4G Touch
I'm having issues with vibration for text messages. It's very choppy and sometimes it barely works at all. Are there any solutions to this problem -- or am I all alone with this issue?
I was looking at the instructions, and noticed it said nothing about wiping any caches anywhere. I had to do that when I flashed AOKP (keep in mind, I'm still kind of new at this).
Is this necessary? I've been wanting to try this ROM out for a while now, but I want to know exactly what I need...
I've tried Winamp, doubletwist, and a few others.
Poweramp is definitely the way to go. Winamp's UI, to me, was confusing as hell. Poweramp has more options and is just excellent all around.

UPDATE: I rooted my phone and flashed AOKP Milestone 6, and Pandora now works on 3G. If you're comfortable with doing such things, it fixes a few other things as well. My battery drain has been significantly reduced, among other things.

Just used this guide from QBKing77, and it worked like a charm. I was stock ICS, no prior root experience or anything, and it worked. Incredibly simple.

I'm assuming this will cover how to root and flash ROMs from ICS, right? I read in a previous post that you have to flash GB before going to the ROM you want. Is this still true?

I got the ICS update yesterday using the manual install method (thanks, JayWill72!) and so far I love it. I've run into a small hiccup, though:
Pandora doesn't work. At all. I've signed in, tried playing a station, and all that happens is an infinite buffer loop. It'll give up, move to the next...
