We turned of WiFi calling and it worked without issue. On previous phones I saw the setting you refer to, I do not see it on the Note 8 in the messaging app.

Wifi Calling is disabled for my wife's and mine, no problem sending live message through text (MMS). Disabled WiFi calling because despite having set to Prefer Cellular the Note 8 is enabling WiFi Calling anyway.

This may be a really dumb question: when registering on T-Mobile for the BOGO Note 8 promotion, do you use the phone number of the new line?

Historically I have not been a Note fan (my wife however has been). But... the Note 8 is amazing and I love it!

I thought you had to wait at least 24 hours after receiving the BOGO to register for the rebate card?

This is my BOGO. Unbelievably UPS Ground (about a 14 hour straight shot drive from Louisville, KY). 1.60 lbs? Must also be including the return shipping box for my wife's iPhone 7+.
