Yea drippler is really cool. I think all it does is aggregate content from other news sources though. I may be wrong.

The only one I would suggest is the official Qualcomm one. Its the only one I saw improvements with. I don't use any saver apps anymore though

I usually replace my phone every 2 years, unless I have incentive to purchase, eg. I break my phone.

I tend to reboot my phone occasionally. But it's never off for more than an hour.
