Moto Maker: Unlocked GSM Moto X (with NET10 SIM) $299.99 through 7/16

If you are referring to the carrier SIM lock, you can call AT&T to get the unlock code for free provided you meet all the requirements listed here...

Moto Maker: Unlocked GSM Moto X (with NET10 SIM) $299.99 through 7/16

I ordered mine on July 12 and got it on July 17th (Yesterday). Motorola sent it 2Day FedEx from Texas to me. As other have mentioned it is an XT1053, no carrier branding or anything, I activated it on the AT&T GoPhone walmart plan and was able to get LTE just fine.

Moto Maker: Unlocked GSM Moto X (with NET10 SIM) $299.99 through 7/16

I ordered one today, I'll post back with the model number when I get it. The website said I had a 9 day wait though. That would be very interesting, particularly if Moto will allow unlocking the bootloader (something that is not allowed with the AT&T model). I still think it is likely to be an...

Moto Maker: Unlocked GSM Moto X (with NET10 SIM) $299.99 through 7/16

Moto maker website says that it is Unlocked GSM, so it for sure will not be locked to Net10. It is likely (but not confirmed, hence my question near the top of the thread) that it will be the XT1053 model (up until now known as the Unlocked/T-Mobile/Developer Edition model). This late in the...

Moto Maker: Unlocked GSM Moto X (with NET10 SIM) $299.99 through 7/16

Why do they never include the model number. If it is an XT1053, I'm in for one. I don't want a phone with Net10 customized firmware on it.

Phone broke, anyway to bypass insurance replacement fee? PLEASE Help

The S3 Mini will work until the previous owner reports it lost or stolen at which point Verizon may blacklist it. Changing the phone on a line of service had no associated costs the last time I did it. You can do it yourself online with MyVerizon. If your going to buy a used phone, lots of...

Verizon now offering $25 discount per line in edge, $160 for 4 smartphones with 10gb on edge

I had asked this question over at howardforums.com as well. The response I got was that once a line is no longer enrolled in the Edge program you no longer get the discount. There is some confusion about whether or not this occurs only after 24mo. or whenever the device is paid off. Even so...

Verizon now offering $25 discount per line in edge, $160 for 4 smartphones with 10gb on edge

Can you BOGO with EDGE and full retail, or 2yr only?

Verizon now offering $25 discount per line in edge, $160 for 4 smartphones with 10gb on edge

It isn't that simple though. I asked about this in the other thread, quoted below for reference If Verizon would simply make it so off-contract devices get discounts it would be an easy comparison to AT&T, but it isn't that straight forward. If a device is permanently part of Edge, then that...

AT&T's new rates are killing me!

If you BOGO on the HTC m8 with Verizon Edge do both phones qualify for the service discount or just one? Also does anyone know if you continue you get the service discount after an Edge phone is paid off (early or not)? Do your rates go up after 24 months? I guess what I'm asking here is once a...

Cricket Wireless: Beware of current deals

Re: Cricket wireless: Beware of current deals Are you sure it is 100 for 5 phones? To me it appears to 100 for 5 lines of service, no mention of free phones.

Verizon now offering $25 discount per line in edge, $160 for 4 smartphones with 10gb on edge

Unfortunately this does not apply to all off-contract devices like AT&Ts rates do, with Verizon discounted rates only apply to devices currently enrolled in Edge.

    CyanogenMod for S3 Verizon

There is apparently an official CM9 rom in the works for the Verizon model. Apparently it will be using the kexec work around to boot the custom kernel. Exerpt from XDA thread (which itself sources a dev, links below) XDA: [BOOTLOADER] Locked bootloader research and news [Updated: 7/16/2012]...
