How would I go about preventing this then? I lay it down onto the phone as flat as I can but it always either happens at the top or bottom of the screen.

Its not dust. Ive installed film and tempered glass screen protectors before numerous times with absolutely no dust and such under them. I doubt Whatever keeps happening with these protectors is dust related considering its a huge half inch to 1 inch spot and I know what dust normally looks like...
