Samsung Car Application. I used Samsung Smart Switch on the pc to backup my edge and then I did a factory reset. I then restored the backup and since then no more auto brightness switching itself off. I also uninstalled a Go Battery Doctor app.

S Voice was not even on or activated by the way so this did not solve my problem thanks

Just happened again, going to chat to Samsung directly now and report and then do Samsung switch backup reset phone and then restore and test

Thanks will try that if it happens again. So far it has not happened again.
