Yea I get that Allow message pretty much every time I connect too. I just looked and something is not enabled in my settings. On my G4: Settings -> Security -> Notification Access --> Android Auto is off. I'll try to turn it on and see if I still get the "Allow" message. I'll report back!

Actually, AA turns on Bluetooth during its startup, so that workaround worked perfectly for me. It really shouldn't matter though, should work whenever needed without any fiddling.
