Try this, it might help the grayed out issue. I can't really try it as i do not have this problem, Settings > lockscreen and security > other security settings > clear credentials. Hope it works :)

Same. I've been waiting for this stupid update for too long. It's crazy how the carrier versions have got it already and the international unlocked ones haven't. Just frustrating. What's sadder is that certain carriers have started rolling it out to the note 4 already.

I have noticed that when I save a new contact it doesn't always get saved and stay in my contact list. It appears in contacts immediately after I save but, sometimes when I check back it isn't there. I've lost a few numbers because of this issue. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe a solution...

This can only be seen on a drawing or note taking app like snote. Doesn't affect my screen handling as nothing really occupies that portion of the screen. It doesn't show the volume scroll bar like the HTC. But the volume can be changed in lockscreen and screen off when a song or something is playing in the background
