I think the factory images will be available within a week, because, according to rumors, it was supposed to arrive on November 3rd. Also the Nexus 9 factory image was posted today so that (I hope) should be a sign. For the OTA update, maybe later this month or only December (obviously)...

Now that I've checked xda thread discussion, I'm 90% sure we'll get the final Android L update and maybe even the preview... Even moto g will get it (the final release). I don't see a great reason why google won't update it. Posted via Android Central App

I think this 18 months thing shouldn't stop Google from updating the nexus 4 because it still is a great phone with high hardware performance. But if that doesn't happen, at least we'll still have the developers to support us. Oh... And there's also that androidOne thing... Low-end devices with...
