I Am looking for a colored (preferably gray or white) otterbox for the original droid. I have the black one but I know I have seen people with I*hones that had different colored cases. Does anyone know if they make those or where to obtain one if they do?

Ok I got it booted into sprecovery but I cant seem to find simply stunning im trying to update to. I extracted it and put it into the nandroid folder and it seems like I should be using clockwork to install it....am I doing something wrong or not getting something?

I was going to install the simply stunning 4.0 overtop of my 2.2. i went into rom manager and hit flash alternate recovery (sprecovery) and then went to reboot into alternate recovery and now I am stuck at the M logo and it will not do anything. Is there anyone that can help?

You can install the youtube apk off 2.2 on your droid and it has an option to automatically use HQ. There is a thread in the applications forum. Works quite nicely.

I also came from a storm 1 and I actually really liked it a lot. I was nervous about switching but went ahead and did it. and WOW am I glad I did, this phone is like night and day compared to the storm. The storm feels like a pocket calculator vs. the droid. I would recommend 100% you getting...

Thank you DA6, as soon as I went to options>import from sd card they all loaded up. I guess the update reset it and took them off the phone or something.

How do you go about backing up the contacts? I came from a BB where the desktop manager had an option to save all the info but this came with no software like that.

No, they were just regular contacts. A lot of them had been synced up with facebook but werent ported in from facebook. I can put a folder on the homescreen with all contacts and it pulls up the small popup window but when I go to regular contacts where it has their picture beside it theres nothing.
