Sorry to revive this thread after so long, but I just got my Nexus 5 and coming from an iPhone 4 that always charged on my iPad's charger (2.1A) and has a smaller battery the Nexus 5 didn't seem that fast at charging. I checked the supplied LG charger and sure enough, it's 1.2A. So I plugged it...
