Fingerprint scanner works with my case now. Was not even worth trying before.

Engadget says this run android apps in their article, but I've seen them post flat out wrong info before. If it does, I would consider buying.

It was and they went beyond that in the comments. Some people are just really sensitive when people are praising any phone other than their favorite. :cool:

If you read the article, it clearly states that they aren't including "phablets" because they are larger, niche phone which can naturally (and do) have much bigger batteries. It also clearly states that there are a few "phablets" that have better battery life than the G2, including the Note 3...

What is the notification pane like? VZW's version had less clutter by default. I want my notification bar 100% empty, if possible.

Launchers have no effect on the notification bar? Wasn't aware of that. I used Nova on a GNEX so I likely didn't think about it.

Correct me if I'm wrong. NOVA (or any launcher) will solve the problem of a UI that is visually unappealing. Won't the actual software still bog down the system since it is technically being used, even if it's in the background? A GP edition might make me pull the trigger, but I am already...
