Thanks. I tried to do that, but when I tap on the three buttons, there is no settings option. There is customization, and it has an emoji piece, but you cannot disable it apparently.

PS It is the Samsung keyboard 2.0.21.80.

I don’t actually know. Whatever came with the phone. Texts have a red icon with Message+ on it. As you can tell, I am not the most sophisticated user.

How do I do that?

I tried to use my Pixel as a hotspot for my pc, and the pc system asked for a password. To the best of my memory, I never set one up for the Pixel in this context. Any words of wisdom?

Thanks for the feedback. A while back when I got fingerprinted for a license, they had trouble getting good (digital) prints from me. So it may be that I just don't have very prominent finger prints. I may give it another try with Jeremy's suggestion.

Have others had trouble with the finger print system? I found moderately unreliable. Once when it did not work, it locked up my phone for a while. That would have been a big problem in an emergency. So I deleted it.

I got the XL and have been pretty happy with it, once I downloaded the Outlook app. The regular Google system would not synch properly with my work Outlook. The finger print reader also did not work well for me. Otherwise I have been quite happy with it. Great size for me.
