Yes, weirdly it all works now including the stock camera app. Can safely say I've never had an issue like that before, but there's a first time for everything.

That worked for google camera and brought the folders back. Weird one that was! Thank for the advice :)

Correct. That is the issue here.

It was recommended by guys at the three store. The issue I was facing I tried to resolve by other means as I am not just going to go hitting the factory restore button. I won't go into depth, but the thing is with this one the camera pictures aren't showing anywhere... That's the problem here...
