    Question Trouble setting up WhatsApp

Mustang, I was told that I don't need minutes to receive the SMS code if I'm using Wi-Fi. But I should do as you wrote since my way isn't working.

    Question Trouble setting up WhatsApp

I'm trying to set up WhatsApp on my Android 10 tablet and Android 10 cellphone, but I'm not having any luck on either. WhatsApp wouldn't accept my US Google Voice number -- said it's not a valid US number. Probably because it's a Voip number. I used a VPN with a US IP address from Ecuador...

Question Volume on Android tablet has become too low

Also, as per my post #21: The alarm volume, at it's highest level in Settings, is still way too low even with the head phones. Approx 5-10% of what it used to be... Ie, a reduction of 90-95%... Which is more drastic than the video volume issue. This also indicates that the tablet is the...

VidJunky post #24 includes "Your statement that, videos that play with good volume always play with good volume, has me baffled. That would put issue with the video and maybe not with the device." ______________ Per my post #13 -- maybe 15% of all videos I access have adequate volume. 85%...

Question Volume on Android tablet has become too low

Ok, here we go... 1. For reference, the volume in the video in post #20 above is perfect using the highest volume level in Settings. Is the volume perfect on your tablets as well using highest volume level in Settings, or is it way too loud? 2. The volume using headphones is very good, but...

Question Volume on Android tablet has become too low

Ok, here's the story -- maybe 15% of all videos I access have adequate volume. 85% definitely don't. I never need to reduce volume settings below maximum. Previously I often needed to turn down the volume. Therefore it's apparent that my tablet decided to reduce it's volume output...

Question Volume on Android tablet has become too low

Re VidJunky post #9 -- Under settings/sound there are just some basic options...the only ones of value are adjusting sound volume for tablet and alarm... Also I searched "sound" in settings search bar. Lots of things came up, but nothing of value.. mostly re notifications and do not disturb...

Question Volume on Android tablet has become too low

I successfully put tablet in safe mode. Volume was still low. Probably the same as regular mode. Re VidJunky's question, per GsmArena's website, under "Sound", it says "loudspeaker". I think my tablet has only one speaker.

Question Volume on Android tablet has become too low

B Diddy, I believe you said a couple years ago that you have/had the same Lenovo m8 tablet as me.... Approx 4 years old as well. If so, do you know how to access safe mode? I read the link you provided in post #4 above, but it doesn't specify how exactly to access safe mode on a particular...
